Who we are

We are a passionate pair of dreamers who immigrated to the UK a decade ago, searching for our place in this vast, ever-changing world. As twice-immigrants who had already experienced life in other countries, our journey was filled with challenges: redefining our identities, navigating new cultures, and balancing the pull of the past with the promise of a brighter future. Through the ups and downs, one thing became clear—our roots held the key to understanding who we are. The nostalgia for the flavors, stories, and traditions we and our parents left behind started to guide us back to ourselves.

That longing for connection inspired us to create Baba's Mujdei. What better way to start than with something so unique, so deeply tied to our heritage, and yet so universal in its ability to bring people together? With Baba's Mujdei, we hope to not only bring our roots closer to us but also share the rich flavors and stories of our culture with others—those who long for a taste of home and those who are discovering it for the first time. This is the start of our adventure, and we can't wait to share it with you.
